Celebrate Israel Festival, the largest Jewish happening in Los Angeles , will take place on Sunday May 17, 2015 at Cheviot Hills Recreation Center (Rancho Park) located at 2551 Motor Ave. Los Angeles. 


Over 15,000 community members will celebrate the State of Israel with live entertainment, interactivities activities, culture, food & art. Advance tickets online at $5 and tickets sold at the door at $10 each. 


Celebrate Israel Festival Los Angeles - Jerusalem of Gold 

Explore one of the oldest cities in the world, travel through tie and explore the  various sites of Jerusalem, learn about the Old City, participate in various hands–on projects and experience the city’s true magic of history. 


Kotel Tunnels  - Take a tour through the Kotel Tunnels and learn about the history of Jerusalem and the many hidden gems of one of the oldest cities in the world. At the end of the tunnel, meet the Kotel Tunnel guide from Israel who will explain the history of the Tunnels and Jerusalem. 

Jerusalem Western Wall  If you have not been to the Holy Land lately, stop by the Kotel to put a note in the Wall. All notes will be sent to Israel after the Festival. T

"Shuk" Machane Yehuda Marketplace  - Take a stroll through one of the most colorful spots in Jerusalem. Walk the the "Shuk", you will feel right at home with artists from Israel and local vendors selling art, jewelry, Judaica,  sculptures, painting, and hand crafted gifts.  Visit our website for more details on the artists. www.celebrateisraelfestival.com 

Technology Pavilion –Stop by to see the latest Israeli innovation and ideas at our festival! Ted-style presentations will take place throughout the day. Visit our website for the full schedule. 


“Ahava” Art Installation – We love Jerusalem so much that we decided to recreate the famous “Ahava” statue from the Israel Museum. Stop by and take your photo there and show us how much you love Israel by posting your photos on Instagram and hashtag #CelebrateIsraelFest

Community Mural – We are excited to have Los Angeles based artist extraordinaire Tomer Perez back again. Stop by the large-scale community mural that Tomer will create, and grab a paintbrush to add your personal touch. We can’t wait to see the finished masterpiece. 

Kosher Food - Enjoy traditional food and "street fare" that will inspire your next trip to Israel - all 100% Kosher! 


Create Lab - Design, build, create and be inspired at our famous CreateLab, open all day with multiple FREE art projects for the entire family. Express yourself and enjoy arts and crafts with our entire community. Make your own Sand Art Mezuza, Tie-Dye Kippah, the Hamsa-Art Project, Magen David Bracelets, Mosaic Coasters and Jerusalem Stone picture frames. 


Lil' Kid Zone - Fun for the whole family! Enjoy high energy entertainment throughout the day, see an exotic reptile show, face painting, balloon art, stilt walkers, bounce houses, and so much more! 


Teen Pavilion - The "cool place to be", an exclusive 12+ years and older only lounge with classic Israeli & American games and digital entertainment. Participate in a Celebrate Israel Video-Mitzvah project. 

 

IAC Beer Garden - Stop by for drink, catch up with old friends and meet new ones at the  (21+ w valid ID). Special area for young professionals at the bar for 26-40 years old. Don't forget to try out your singing talents at the Karaoke area at the bar!

Bedouin Tent - Are you a Birthright alumni? If so, this is the place for you to be! Catch up with old friends and make new ones who share your love for Israel.
